Job Summary

Lead information technology (IT) solutions in the areas of Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis to support Colas North America end-to-end processes and solutions. Build and lead teams to deliver the financial planning multi-year IT roadmap and solutions. FP&A technologies (e.g., Oracle JDE, SAP Financial Consolidation- Magnitude, Arda, Anaplan, etc) and integration with enterprise systems as well as Integrated business planning. Act as a change agent, seeking opportunities to challenge the status quo to meet business objectives. Partner with PMO organization to ensure area portfolio delivery in terms of priority, schedule, cost, scope, and quality, while providing transparency to the business organization. Lead multiple solution leaders with active strategic programs.

 

 

Salary: $206,000

Travel: 20% (U.S.) and 10% (international)

Main Responsibilities

  • Evaluate Current Systems: Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of our current FP&A systems, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting tools.
  • Develop Transformation Strategy: Develop a comprehensive strategy for enhancing and redefining the FP&A systems to align with industry-standard processes and organizational objectives.
  • Systems Integration: Lead all aspects of the integration of FP&A systems with other financial and operational systems to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Process Improvement: Find opportunities to streamline and automate financial planning and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner Collaboration: Developing a close partnership and collaboration with business and technology collaborators and processes Collaborate with finance teams to understand business requirements and align FP&A systems accordingly.
  • Project & Vendor Management: Lead the implementation of FP&A system enhancements, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Evaluate and maintain relationships with external vendors and consultants, ensuring the selection of appropriate tools and technologies that meet the organization's needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in FP&A systems and processes, proactively finding opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Together with management, hold monthly business reviews with each business unit and report to the executive team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, information systems, business, commerce. 5 yrs. of experience as senior finance business analyst in financial planning, analysis, or accounting.
  • Experience managing FP&A systems is important. Good background in high-tech manufacturing, with a solid understanding of the industry's unique financial dynamics and challenges. Consistent record of successfully leading FP&A system evaluation and transformation projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial planning and analysis software (Oracle JDE, SAP Financial Consolidation- Magnitude, Arda, Anaplan, etc.) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with database management and business intelligence tools is advantageous.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Management & Communication Skills: Solid project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and present financial information to partners.
  • Business Insight: A solid grasp of financial principles, accounting standards, and business operations to drive informed decision-making.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Professional certifications (CMA, CFA) are beneficial.
