Job Summary
We are currently seeking dedicated and responsible Construction Flaggers to join our construction team! The Construction Flagger will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and smooth flow of traffic in and around construction sites. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a dedication to safety.
Main Responsibilities
- Direct and control traffic flow in and around the construction site following established safety procedures and regulations
- Communicate effectively with drivers, crew, and pedestrians to ensure a clear understanding of traffic patterns and instructions
- Use hand signals, flags, and other signaling devices to guide traffic and ensure safe passage through construction zones
- Adjust traffic control measures as needed to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of vehicles
- Collaborate with construction crew members to coordinate flagging operations with ongoing construction activities
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices, such as cones, signs, and barricades, in accordance with guidelines
- Report any safety hazards, violations, or accidents to supervisors or appropriate personnel
Education
Degree or Equivalent Experience
Qualifications
- Flagger Certification Card
- Relevant work history as a Construction flagger or similar role is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of operation of telecommunications systems

Physical Requirements
- Must Pass PAT (Physical Ability Test)
- Must Pass Pre-employment Drug Screening
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions
- Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE), as required.
- Frequent exposure to loud noise
- Regularly exposed to adverse weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles
