Job Summary:

Drives pump to/from job sites to include residential, commercial, and industrial projects from single to multi-story structures.  We use our fleet of different size Concrete pumps and Telebelts to get the job done.

Main Responsibilities

•    Embrace the Company’s safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives, and adhere to defined accountabilities implemented by the Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams
•    Support, promote, and practice the Company’s core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies 
•    Possess the ability to lift and move concrete pump components
•    Set up and operate the concrete pump on the job site and ensure conditions at job site are safe
•    Safe operation and maintenance of the Concrete pump or Telebelt
•    Be aware of surroundings for potential hazards
•    Interact professionally with internal and external customers
•    Perform daily a pre- and post-trip safety check on equipment and truck to assure a safe vehicle; documents any maintenance that may be required
•    May operate other equipment such as loaders, skid steers, forklifts, dump trucks, and ready-mix truck
•    Assist with the form/pour/strip of precast products
•    May spray surfaces of truck with protective/cleaning compound to prevent adhering of concrete
•    Assist work crews as required; assists with maintenance of plant and equipment
•    Maintain necessary logs, timecards, and other required paperwork

Education:

•    High school diploma or equivalent preferred
•    Class B CDL with Air Brakes and clean driving history

Skills:

•    At least 1 year of concrete boom pump operation preferred
•    Basic industrial truck maintenance experience preferred, but not required
•    Ability to maintain a professional relationship with a diverse population of customers
•    Prior experience working with concrete production, construction, and/or related field preferred

Physical Requirements:

•    Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
•    Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
•    Regularly required to use hands to move and manipulate objects
•    Regularly required to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, exchange information (This position frequently communicates with others regarding safety issues/training or must be able to discern equipment location for safety) 
•    Regularly required to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, assess (must be able to detect moving equipment or must be able to safely inspect work at heights above 10 feet)
•    Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear) 
•    Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 
•    Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain
•    Regularly required to work from a seated position operating equipment for long periods
•    Frequent exposure to loud noise 
•    Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration
•    Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles
•    Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals
•    Occasionally exposed to working from high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock
