Job Summary

Is responsible for promoting, leading and monitoring the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment approach in line with the Group's primary value, Safety, and related policies.
 

Main Responsibilities

  • Travel to various projects to perform accurate sampling and testing as per project standards and specifications
  • Provide all sampling and testing information required for HRI, Inc., Inspection Staff, and Owner's Representative
  • Conduct daily meetings with onsite staff to discuss daily testing needs and criteria
  • Conduct follow-up to review results and any findings that may affect construction or payment
  • Keep thorough records of all sampling, testing, and calculations performed on project for submission
  • Keep up to date with all current and developing technologies required to perform the job
  • Responsible for safely operating, maintaining, and caring for assigned testing equipment

Main Responsibilities

  • Nuclear gauge operation, transportation, and documentation
  • Preconstruction review of project specifications and requirements
  • Project testing, sampling, and delivery of samples to DOT and HRI, Inc. lab
  • Communication with the lab to correlate field results with lab results
  • Provide ongoing data such as paver speed and roller pattern throughout daily operations
  • Proven track record working safely
  • Overtime as required
  • Good work ethic, professional, and positive attitude
  • Travel will be required to specific job sites

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid drivers’ license with the ability to maintain a clean driving history

Skills

  • Previous experience and knowledge in related field preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by Company safety guidelines
  • Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
  • Regularly required to use hands to move and manipulate objects
  • Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear) 
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain
  • Frequent exposure to loud noise 
  • Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles
  • Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals
  • Required to work varying hours, including nights/weekends, Overtime as required
  • Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements
  • Proven track record working safely
  • Good work ethic, professional, and positive attitude
