Ferroviaire_DNK

Today, all around the world, cities are reinventing themselves: a revolution that leads to new ways of thinking and building mobility. The Railways business, carried out by Colas Rail and its subsidiaries, includes the design and engineering of large complex projects, the construction, renewal and maintenance of rail networks (high speed lines, conventional lines, tramway and metros). For example, this includes the laying and maintenance of tracks, electrification (distribution sub-stations and catenary systems), signaling, safety equipment, specific work such as overhead cranes, sidings, tunnels, as well as rail freight activity (transport of aggregate for Group subsidiaries and private customers).
Present in more than 20 countries, Colas Rail participates in major railway projects all around the world, e.g., the construction of Africa’s first High Speed train line in Morocco and the Nîmes-Montpellier bypass in France. The Group is also involved in urban mobility projects such as the LRT Jabodebek and Tramway T9 in the Greater Paris Area.
