Related to General Services, Facility Management is defined as all the multi-service and multi-technical support functions required for the operation of a company. What does it mean in concrete terms? "It involves the management of activities that affect both the infrastructure of sites and their occupants: the operation and maintenance of buildings, the maintenance of technical installations, the cleaning of premises, security, mail management, reception, catering, etc. We've got a lot of work to do," explains Stéphane Richard. With over twenty years of international experience in the field, the Group's Facility Management Manager works with his teams to maximize the environment and working conditions of Colas employees, in accordance with regulatory, safety and environmental requirements. Stéphane favors links with his teams in France: "Colas' real estate portfolio is made up of numerous sites of varying types. Stéphane and his colleagues share their expertise to support the many projects of the branches and subsidiaries: compliance, refurbishment and renovation of premises, optimization of the energy performance of sites, standardization of systems and procedures, negotiation of contracts and service costs, etc. These collective operations give real meaning to our support function," says Stéphane. Today, Facility Management is evolving and becoming interdependent on new technologies, digital transformation, environmental and health issues. But our primary objective remains the same: to ensure a quality of service to employees, to improve their safety and comfort, and ultimately, to allow the company to focus on its core business and productivity.
