Qualifications/Experience required

Education:

Bachelor’s degree of Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering. 

Experience:

Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

Good knowledge in REVIT, AutoCAD, PLC, Control Engineering & SCADA.

Excellent communication skills and able to relate to business context and capability development and network agenda.

Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.

Deals comfortably with extremely confidential and sensitive information.

Language Requirements:

Arabic & English is a must, French is a plus.

Core Functions-Tasks / Key Results Expected

Responsibilities Include:

  • Automation and IT Assignments: Execute tasks related to automation and industrial IT, including drafting technical specifications for hardware, software, coding, and production rules.
  • Technical Analysis: Develop functional and organic analyses for automation and supervision projects.
  • Solution Implementation: Propose and implement technical solutions aligned with client specifications.
  • Documentation Management: Create, update, and optimize design documentation within assigned responsibilities, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Supplier Consultations: Assist in preparing technical files for supplier consultations.
  • Programming and Updates: Conduct industrial automation programming for subsystems and update existing source codes.
  • Drawings and Cable Lists: Select detailed circuit and equipment drawings, terminal blocks, and routing diagrams; prepare cable lists during various project phases (FAT/design/installation/pre-commissioning/testing).
  • Material Inspection: Perform regular quality assessments of incoming materials and outgoing products.
  • Interface Applications: Develop interface applications using object-oriented programming languages.
  • Development and Commissioning: Participate in equipment development and commissioning at factories and customer sites.
  • Testing and Debugging: Support subsystem testing, commissioning, and debugging of source codes during installation and warranty phases.
  • Change Management: Manage deviations and modification requests, applying necessary changes until final project approval.
  • Equipment and Version Control: Draft automation equipment lists (with references) and manage software versioning.
  • Tender Support: Contribute to tender activities, including pricing tasks.
  • Configuration Control: Actively participate in hardware and software configuration control processes.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Report to the manager, ensuring traceability of files and codes, while tracking client requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks (schedule, design, equipment), propose corrective or innovative solutions, and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Activity Reporting: Provide updates on progress, variations, and technical issues to the manager.
