BIM Engineer

Job Title: BIM Engineer  
Supervisor: BIM Manager

Core Functions:
1. Conduct an audit and review of BIM modeling
2. Execute and review BIM coordination
3. Produce composite drawings
4. Engage in programming and data analytics as an added advantage
5. Review and approve technical design and shop drawings from partners
6. Utilize ACC as the Common Data Environment (CDE) for project information exchange
7. Develop dynamo scripts to benefit the team, if possible
8. Create detailed families in various systems and disciplines

- Possesses fundamental knowledge of Colas Rail-Egypt's core business and the technical specialties related to COLAS RAIL.

- Demonstrates proficiency in information technology, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Over 4 years of experience in BIM technology support, production, coordination, best practices, and workflow
- Proficient in BIM authoring tools (Revit, CAD, Revit family creation) and Navisworks Manage for coordination and clash detection
- Capable of using simulation tools for 4D simulations such as Synchro 4D or Navisworks
- Advantageous Skills: Dynamo, BIM 360, Civil 3D
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Highly motivated and proactive

Language Requirements:
- Arabic and English are mandatory; French is a plus.
