Title: Rail and Metro Coordination Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Coordination Manager with a strong background in the rail and metro industry to drive seamless collaboration and coordination across complex transportation projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in orchestrating effective communication and alignment among diverse project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of rail and metro systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and facilitate effective coordination among internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, regulatory bodies, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
2. Establish and maintain robust communication channels to enable efficient information flow, decision-making, and issue resolution among stakeholders involved in rail and metro projects.
3. Drive the development and implementation of coordination plans, strategies, and workflows to enhance project integration and mitigate potential conflicts or delays.
4. Monitor project progress, milestones, and dependencies to identify coordination challenges and proactively address them through effective cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving.
5. Serve as the focal point for coordination-related issues, conducting regular meetings, status updates, and reporting to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in project coordination and management within the rail and metro industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex coordination challenges across diverse stakeholder groups.
3. Demonstrated expertise in fostering collaboration, communication, and alignment among multidisciplinary teams and external partners involved in rail and metro projects.
4. Strong understanding of project management principles, risk management, and stakeholder engagement specific to the rail and metro industry.
5. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus among stakeholders with diverse interests and priorities.

Desired Skills:

1. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or change management is advantageous.
2. Familiarity with project management software and tools for collaboration, communication, and coordination.
3. Experience with managing coordination challenges related to rail infrastructure, signaling systems, or metro operations.
4. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry-specific protocols relevant to rail and metro coordination.
5. Multilingual abilities and cross-cultural communication skills for managing coordination activities across diverse geographic regions and stakeholder groups.
