Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in configuration management within the rail and metro industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry-specific standards and best practices.
- Proven track record of leading configuration efforts for large-scale rail or metro projects, with a focus on system integration and compliance with safety-critical standards.
- In-depth knowledge of configuration management tools, such as IBM Rational ClearCase, SVN, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration management process for rail and metro projects, including the identification, control, and documentation of configuration items and related data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain configuration management plans, baselines, and change control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to verify the accuracy and completeness of configuration documentation and support configuration status accounting.
- Provide expertise in implementing configuration management tools and best practices to streamline workflows and improve project outcomes.
- Participate in design reviews, system integration activities, and validation efforts to ensure alignment with configuration baselines and requirements.
