**Job Overview:**  
The Senior Quantity Surveyor Engineer is responsible for the financial management and successful delivery of underground metro construction projects. This includes cost estimation, budgeting, and ensuring projects meet quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Cost Management:**
   - Prepare and manage budgets, conduct cost estimations, and create detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
   - Monitor project costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.

2. **Contract Administration:**
   - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance and monitoring obligations.
   - Manage progress claims, variations, and final accounts.

3. **Financial Reporting:**
   - Generate financial reports and forecasts, conduct audits, and prepare cost reports.

4. **Project Coordination:**
   - Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure effective communication.
   - Participate in project meetings to address cost implications.

5. **Risk Management:**
   - Identify and manage potential financial risks, developing mitigation strategies.

6. **Team Leadership:**
   - Supervise and mentor junior quantity surveyors, fostering professional development.

7. **Compliance and Quality Assurance:**
   - Ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies.
   - Evaluate contractor performance to meet quality expectations.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIQS) preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on underground metro projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and financial management.
- Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
