The EMEA Division (Europe–Middle East–Africa & Specialties) currently has 14,000 employees in 28 countries.
Position based in Paris, within the EMEA division of COLAS, for a period of 6 months.
Mission
As part of the Colas Group's digital transformation, the EMEA Division is leading several projects aimed at digitizing business processes on an international scale.
We are looking for an intern to support the deployment of digital solutions for Safety, FNC, and equipment forms, particularly in Central Europe, working directly with local teams and business lines.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Digitalization Project Manager:
- Support the implementation of digital tools for processes related to safety, quality, and equipment, in conjunction with entities in Central Europe. Provide level 1/2 user support for digital tools and document processes.
- Coordinate exchanges with several countries to identify, document, and disseminate best practices for adaptation to other entities.
- Gather business requirements through exchanges with users, formalize existing processes, and contribute to their digitalization.
- Participate in the functional configuration of tools: form fields, validation logic, conditional visibility, etc. Ability to understand business needs and challenge development teams.
- Lead work and project follow-up meetings, write clear reports, and liaise between teams, user countries, etc.
- Monitor project progress: identify deliverables, build schedules, and coordinate milestones.
- Write functional documentation, explanatory materials, and user training materials.
Profile
- Engineering school student or Master's degree in computer science (4-5 years of higher education)
- Strong interest in international and multicultural environments
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and fluent English.
- Good interpersonal skills, service-oriented and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lead meetings, give clear presentations, and explain technical subjects in layman's terms
- Autonomy, rigor, organizational and coordination skills
- Strong interest in the digitization of business processes
- Good ability to understand SaaS tools.
- Knowledge (or curiosity) of the Groovy Script language is a plus
- Proficiency in Office 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Proficiency in the fundamentals of project management
- Project management: planning, team monitoring, and meeting deadlines.
- Coordination of various stakeholders: internal teams, service providers, and partners.
- Performance analysis: monitoring KPIs and optimizing digital strategies.
- Ability to synthesize information and respond quickly to unforeseen events.
