Technical/Sales Representative - Chemoran Ireland

Responsibilities
Technical
-
- Identify customer technical needs and provide relevant solutions.
- Liaise with the Chemoran Technical Manager on R&D and product innovation.
- Serve as a link between Chemoran/Colas Core Centre (R&D Lab) and customers for technical support.
- Attend technical meetings and oversee product implementation in the field.
Sales
-
- Identify customer product needs and promote Chemoran solutions to Colas’ entities and the external market.
- Maintain direct relationships with technical contacts in Colas’ entities, CST and with external clients.
- Conduct customer visits and issue detailed visit reports.
- Collaborate with the technical team for new product development and follow-up (e.g. site trials).
- Provide pricing to customers and manage orders, stock levels, and bulk deliveries.
- Monitor and maintain Chemoran’s market share per customer.
- Participate in Colas Technical Conferences and Chemoran Sales Meetings.
- Address and resolve invoicing issues.
Customer Service

- Manage customer complaints regarding product quality and logistics.
- Coordinate with plant managers for unused product transfers.
- Organize customer visits to Chemoran's plant and laboratory facilities.
Profile
- Degree in Chemical engineering with ideally 3-5 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of emulsifiers, adhesion agents, additives for bituminous materials and cold technique formulations.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and in teams, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Willing and able to travel regularly within France and internationally.
