IT Associate
Mission
To provide proactive and service-oriented technical support to support project teams in their daily IT operations. This includes troubleshooting issues, hands-on technical assistance, managing desktop/laptop, server, printer, network devices, IT security, infrastructure and communication for users in the office and remote sites to enable business operation running smoothly while adhering to Corporate IT policies and standards.
Main Responsibilities
Includes but not limited to the following:
- Provide technical support for desktop/laptop for office & project users (directly or remotely) for any hardware & software related issues.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and MFP machines.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks including preventive maintenance (antivirus protection, warranty renewal, software license renewal), troubleshooting (PCs and LAN), servers and communication lines (data/voice) to ensure IT infrastructures in all offices are working properly and effectively.
- Perform user account management (add/remove/modify)
- Coordinate and liaise with vendors for any IT requirements.
- Maintain IT documentation to be always updated for IT asset database.
- Provide local support for Corporate IT projects including new hardware and software rollout.
- Assist in all IT related duties that pertains to IT Service and Project Site
- Assist and educate users for any IT related topics, IT policies and standards, IT ticketing system.
- Escalate IT issues properly as required to IT Manager or HQ IT.
Profile
- Preferable minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Have knowledge of TCP/IP, wireless systems, data cabling · Good understanding of current IT security and Data protection standards
- Good understanding of Cloud and mobile technology
- Familiar with Microsoft windows, Office365 application, Microsoft TEAMS, Sharepoint technology
- Strong analytical, arithmetic, visualization skills and good English language is a must. · Excellent MS office tools knowledge.
