Weighbridge Coordinator

Purpose of the Role
Carnsew Quarry (part of the Colas Ltd Group) is a quarrying business based near Falmouth, in Cornwall. We now have a permanent requirement for a Weighbridge Coordinator to join a dedicated and hardworking team.
Main Responsibilities
The Weighbridge Coordinator is a front of house role that requires a pleasant and professional character whilst controlling and applying the processes of the weighbridge, which includes the monitoring and control of material movement and the distribution to customers, as well as the arrangement of haulage for daily deliveries.
Ensuring all delivery drivers and visiting collect customers are aware of and follow all site rules and answering customers questions on products, prices and availability. You will form part of the Aggregates and Asphalt team ensuring excellent customer service whilst carrying out your duties in accordance with the site rules.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated, a good team player, be trustworthy and able to work with minimum supervision. You will have experience in a similar role where you monitored deliveries and have a good understanding of IT (with reference to scheduling and monitoring systems for vehicles)
