Junior Design Engineer

Mission

To produce and update precise computer-aided design (CAD) drawings and documentation that support engineering and construction activities for rail infrastructure projects. The CAD Operator ensures timely and accurate delivery of drawings in accordance with project requirements and standards.

Main Responsibilities

Includes but not limited to the following:

• Assist with day-to-day activities and provide support to Trackwork Team members

• Perform administrative tasks such as documentation, filing, and scheduling

• Learn and apply basic AutoCAD skills to support project requirements

• Coordinate communication between team members and departments

• Help prepare reports and track project progress

• Support in organizing and maintaining project records and data

Profile

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 1-2 years of experience

Knowledge of AutoCAD
