Project Accountant

Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a highly capable individual to fill a management accountant role. You will be performing financial analysis and review, along with forecast and budgetary duties.

Person Specification

• Part Qualified/Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA or similar
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
• A minimum of two years' experience as a management accountant in a related business.
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude.
• Clear attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Gathering and interpreting information to evaluate the efficiency and cost effectiveness of operations
• Analysing key financial data.
• Report production to assist finance and commercial management in appraisal of costs and future planning.
• Assisting in streamlining current processes to improve department efficiency.
• Performing financial recordkeeping, as well as protecting sensitive and confidential information.
• Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in management accounting.
