Currently, COLAS operates and develops through two companies: COLAS Polska - road sector and COLAS Kruszywa - mining sector. Last year, COLAS Polska took over 11 Asphalt Plants from one of the road construction leaders along with laboratories, machinery, equipment and bituminous brigades, obtaining the status of a nationwide enterprise. 

Main tasks

  • Participating in building the country and agency strategy based on his experience and industries in collaboration with the management team 
  • Participating in the implementation and monitoring of KPIs of the sales teams in relation to the CCs
  • Business development i.a.: developing of existing segments, finding and developing new segments, as well as niche market development
  • Ensuring the promotion of technical offers and products, alongside technical management and operational staff
  • Establishing with the Agencies and ensuring the implementation and monitoring of the commercial action plans of the establishments established by the Agency Directors
  • Structure the marketing approach of the entities in order to better understand their market and help operational and research teams to position themselves as best as possible in their work segments
  • Carrying out economic studies for the launch or development of products
  • Research of the competitive environment and monitoring of market activities
  • Sales team management
  • Representing the company at events and conferences 
  • Conducting market studies with a view to acquisitions 
  • Coordinating external communication to clients
  • Active building of international business relationships

Requirements

  • Higher education – sales & marketing, management
  • At least 10 years of experience (3 years on analogical position)
  • Knowledge about market & products in contraction and mining sector in Poland
  • Analytical skills – ability to support the business with data-based market insights on trends, risks and opportunities
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to create a long-term business relations based on win-win approach
  • Experience in construction & mining sector will be a preference
  • Fluent English (additional French will be a plus)
  • Leadership skills
  • Planning & organizing skills (time management, prioritizing, stress resilience)
  • Flexibility & mobility / travelling is up to 50% of working time 
  • MS Office knowledge
  • Driving license B category
