Key Responsibilities
- Schedule, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of employees
- Supervise and direct employees in performing operations safely and according to company’s policies and procedures
- Ensure that all operations are performed with the utmost regard for the safety and health of all employees involved
- Conduct site safety inspections, safety meetings and hazard assessments
- Assign tasks for workers and communicate what needs to be done and how it needs to be done
- Collect and track time for all workers on the job site
- Order and track supplies needed for the job
- Recognize and solve any issues that may come up
- Deal with any disputes between employees, discipline employees when required
- Understand and be capable to operate any equipment on the job site
- Pre-job planning (planning for the next day)
- Double check the work of employees
- Keeping track of employees competency level (Green vs. Experienced)
- Read and interpret blueprints
- All other duties that are required.
Qualifications
- High school graduation
- More than 3 years of experience in related industry
- Knowledge of water, sanitary and storm systems
- Valid Driver’s License, Class 5 minimum
