Credit Services Coordinator

As a Credit Services Coordinator, You Will:

  • Monitor aged trial balance for assigned divisions to ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Contact customers to request payment and follow up of open and past due balances
  • Handle disputed accounts and negotiates to bring payment into line with credit terms
  • Identify and help solve billing problems and questions, reconciliation and ticket investigation
  • Work with Divisional Managers, Controllers and others to identify and solve potential collection problems
  • Process new credit applications by obtaining sufficient information to access the creditworthiness of new and existing customers
  • Credit monitoring and maintenance: monitor credit limits, credit risk and provide support to divisions by updating customer accounts with current payment information
  • Account matching and adjustments of payments
  • Maintain credit hold lists
  • Provide switchboard relief as required

What You'll Bring

  • JD Edwards experience, considered an asset
  • Experience within the construction industry, considered an asset
  • 2-3 years’ experience with commercial credit collection required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective communication (written and verbal)
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Exceptional computer skills, advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with credit reports and credit recommendations
