Mission

We are seeking a candidate with experience with the JDE Sales and Distribution modules (Sales, Purchasing and Inventory). As a functional business analyst, you will use your JD Edwards experience to help support our end-users, lead digital transformation initiatives, and improve business processes around the Construction Materials (Manufacturing) domain of our business. The successful candidate will be bilingual (English/French) and willing to learn and work with other applications that help fulfill a need for Colas in the Construction Materials domain (Quoting, Point-of-Sale, Dispatch, QC, Operational Reporting, etc.). 

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user Support for the Sales and Distribution module of JDE Edwards and the integration into that module
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the Sales and Distribution module of JDE Edwards within Colas ISS
  • Work with users and the team within Colas ISS (Developers, QA, Project Managers, System Administrators, etc.) to gather requirements, design a solution and develop specifications
  • Perform functional testing on new enhancements, modifications, and bug fixes as needed
  • Train business users and document new or existing solutions
  • Follow all project management methodology and complete all necessary requirements of our project management methodology and internal processes

Education & Experience

 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or IT field
  • 5 years of functional experience with the Sales and Distribution module of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 or higher (Sales, Purchasing and Inventory)
  • 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role required.
  • Experience working with users to gather requirements, writing specifications, and delivering applications through a change process involving phases for building, testing, UAT, and deployment.
  • Experience working with a project team which may include Developers, QA, Project Managers, System Administrators, etc. to successfully deliver a project
  • Experience with MS Office suite required

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in the Construction Materials industry (Aggregates, Asphalt, Liquid, Ready-Mix)
  • Experience in integrating 3rd party applications with JD Edwards
  • Experience in Accounting principles
  • Experience with Scale Ticketing, Dispatch and Quoting software used in the Construction Materials Industry
  • Experience with COMMANDalkon solutions including JWS Apex, COMMANDseries, and MOBILEsales
  • Experience with IT software technical skills (software implementation, software support)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA and/or Aha software
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Strong report writing skills (ReportsNow DAS, Crystal Reports, PowerBI)
  • Bilingual English/French
