Mission

Colas ISS is looking for a self-driven Training Coordinator to lead our company efforts in employee training and knowledge base development.  If you want to play a key role in strengthening the Colas workforce of the future and be a part of taking our company to the next level, we invite you to join us.  The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and French.  We are open to candidates outside of Toronto. 
 

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledgebase, strategy, platform and governance for the Colas subsidiaries and ISS
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to perform needs analysis, develop learning objectives and design deliverables that meet the business needs and organizational quality standards 
  • Partner with cross-functional business teams to identify opportunities to leverage other Knowledge Base platforms more effectively, making it easier for employees to self-serve and for our teams to manage
  • Identify and create position-specific customer onboarding training for all new hires within Colas North America
  • Establish recurrent business training for IT solutions to ensure system adoption (content, structure, videos, documents)
  • Principal driver of ISS Super User Meetings and other training events
  • Work with team members to foster ideas and innovation
  • Identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed organizationally
  • Collaborate with all departments to document existing procedures
  • Partner with Professional Services Team to understand business processes in order to identify gaps and training needs
  • Manage end user trainings, including implementation and evaluation
  • Comfortable with in person as well as live  trainings on virtual platforms
  • Oversee the development of online trainings
  • Build a training repository from scratch

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Strong presentation and communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines 
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in an operational training leadership role 
  • Proven success building and delivering training that yields results 
  • Proactive training approach, must be self-starter 
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to define key performance indicators/metrics
  • Ability to effectively analyze and interpret data
  • Ability to document, prepare, and deliver data-driven presentations
  • Fluent in English and French
