Primary Job Function

The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations, including customer service, record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.

Main Responsibilites

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company safety policies and procedures.
  • Promote the Branscome Goal Zero injury safety culture.
  • Assist the HR Manager as needed to meet the needs of the department
  • Manage the recruiting process for the region including job requisition, posting jobs, applicant log, interviewing prospective employees, and recommend viable applicants for hire 
  • Conduct new employee orientation
  • Prepare new-employee files and ensure that all pre-employment processes have been completed
  • Perform customer service function by resolving employee questions, concerns, and/or complaints related to health benefits, 401k, training, and general employment
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
  • Manage and maintenance of personnel files and records in HRIS system and Onbase (scanning)
  • Coordinate the random drug testing program
  • Maintain the CDL program and assure compliance with state and federal regulation
  • Develop and maintain open communication with managers, supervisors, and all employees. 
  • Manage base facility passes 
  • Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of related experience required.
  • HR Certification preferred
