The Equipment Engineer will work closely with all the Equipment & Manufacturing team and will work directly under the Director of Equipment & Logistics. The Equipment Engineer is responsible for design, development, implementation, analysis in installation and maintenance of company equipment and plants.  Equipment Engineer recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of plants and equipment.  May develop a range of products.

This includes:
•    Analyze equipment malfunctions and failures and accordingly develop corrective actions.
•    Develop improvements to enhance equipment reliability and scalability.
•    Develop and oversee the preventive maintenance program & procedures
•    Develop and oversee the pre & post trip program & procedures 
•    Monitor and develop ways to reduce equipment failures.
•    Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements.
•    Maintain documentations for equipment installation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for reference purposes.
•    Provide support for troubleshooting equipment
•    Develop cost-reduction initiatives while still maintaining quality and productivity.
•    Provide job assistance and conduct job trainings for employees as needed.
•    Act as a contact for equipment performance related questions and concerns
•    Analyze telemetry data with defined criteria, create BI dashboards and communicate results (key findings) to team members
•    Investigates and reports on root cause analysis and follows up with corrective actions.
•    Ensures proper diagnostic capability to point to issue root causes effectively.
•    Assists in conducting time and efficiency studies and develops improved processes based on findings
•    Develop and apply methods of measuring the performance of Equipment and provide feedback on improving


•    Assists in managing costs and the completion of the Capital Projects

Equipment & Plants
•    Maintains and oversees equipment and plant prevention maintenance programs along with pre & post trip programs, but not limited to WO’s, PO’s, Dashboards, DARCI
•    Overseeing GPS programs internal and external (Cat VisionLink / John Deere JD Link / TopCon) , but not limited to providing reports, equipment performance, failures,
•    Oversee the monitoring and expanding usage of GPS equipment program. Track Tools, equipment usage
•    Ability to communicate equipment operating/maintenance issues via GPS and give feedback to shop manager & field managers as required
•    Provide & Input annual Plants Maintenance Budget into JDE and maintain 
•    Verify equipment quality in the field and take necessary actions to remedy all equipment deficiencies in order to obtain high job satisfaction
•    Reviews equipment write ups with field, to identify possible issues.  Works with Shop Manager in scheduling to mitigate production issues with downtime, replacement, rental, repairs, etc.
•    During new demo introduction, you will provide support during first integration and on-site to validate the product and provide the required training to enable success and give feedback

•    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•    JD Edwards experience (preferred)
•    Good organization abilities
•    Ability to multitask
•    Ability to work as a team and independently.
