Job Summary
Operates heavy equipment in the Litchfield Hot Mix Asphalt Plant and Quarry.
Main Responsibilities
- Work with plant employees in production and distribution of product.
- Leads and assists plant employees in maintenance and repairs of the plant equipment.
- Maintain plant facilities with professionalism and quality in mind to ensure that we delivery quality products to our valued customers.
- Work with Quality Control personnel to continuously monitor the quality of the products we produce.
- Compliance with company safety standards and policies.
- Compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies.
- Be responsible for the safe execution of tasks being performed by plant employees.
- Work with Plant Superintendent to continuously improve safety at the facility.

- Have the willingness to work in a team environment; assist co-workers and supervisors with assigned duties.
- Communicate openly, honestly, and professionally with co-workers, supervisors, and all others.
- Be willing to work with alongside fellow employees to complete assigned tasks sometimes under adverse working conditions to meet goals set forth by management.
Education
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Valid driver’s license.
- One year of experience in asphalt plant production and/or operations.
