Main Responsibilites

Job Description:

Reeves Construction Company is looking for Roller Operators for its Gradeing Crews in our St. Augustine, Florida location.  Qualified candidates must be able to effectively run a roller for the compaction of asphalt and/or dirt and other materials for road and commercial construction.

Job Responsibilities:
• Adhere to Reeves Construction Company safety programs to ensure a safe work environment
• The ability to operate a steel wheel roller or rubber-tired roller
• Have an accurate and working knowledge of a roller
• Be able to oil, grease and fueling  of roller
• Operate roller at a good speed to maximum first compaction
• Make sure asphalt/dirt/materials is rolled to specifications of roller pattern
• Willingness and ability to keep roller maintained and clean
• Willingness to work nights and weekends
• Operate equipment in a safe and consistent manner 

Qualifications & Skills Required

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• One or more years in a similar field
• Experience working in and around construction equipment
• Provide own transportation to and from work
