Main Responsibilites

TYPICAL DUTIES:
•    Over see and evaluate project engineers skills and needs
•    Develop a training program based on Project Engineers skills and needs
•    Assign projects to Project Engineers based on skills required, work load, location of projects and duration of projects
•    Assist Project Managers and Superintendent(s) with the utilization of Project Engineers, project operations, schedules and cost management
•    Analyze project(s) cost thru time sheets, weekly quantities, and weekly job cost reports
•    Produce Monthly Billing Estimates for agencies and subcontractors
•    Development of project(s) long term and short term schedule
•    Communicate with agency(s), superintendant(s), subcontractor(s), foreman, estimator(s)
•    Represent the company in negotiations and meetings with agencies and cities
•    Develop and maintain Purchase Orders in JD Edwards system.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:
•    Leadership
•    Good communication
•    Self- Starter
•    Multi-tasking
•    Computer Skills: Excel, Word, JD Edwards, Suretrack, P3-P6, Heavy Job
•    Knowledge of Caltrans & Greenbook Specifications
•    Plan Reading
•    Driver License
•    4 year degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management or Equivalent Experience or Combination of experience and education

•    Reach with arms and hands
•    See well (either naturally or with correction)
