The Paving Crew Members position is within our West Region, where we are a leader in asphalt paving, products, and general heavy civil construction. This includes Laborers, Operators (Roller, Screed, Paver, and other types of equipment), and Foreman.

The position will report to the supervisor and will be responsible for a variety of duties in and around job site of construction projects. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. The ideal candidate has a proven record of success in fast-paced environments. Must have the ability to work with and communicate with cross-functional teams.


  • Complete tasks as directed by supervisor in a timely manner
  • Perform shoveling, raking, and demolition 
  • Work and assist others to work in a safe manner 
  • Operate Paving Equipment and/ or Labor
  • Observe distribution of paving material 
  • Keep Screed properly adjusted and maintain material quality
  • Setup Paver, Screed, and Rollers.
  • Match all Paver joints and maintain consistency
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor 
  • Assist in patching asphalt

  • Ability to use equipment properly and safely
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Must have an acceptable safety record and be committed to working safely
  • Overtime as required
  • Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements
  • Ability to work with a team and in a fast-paced environment
  • Independent work ethic and professional, positive attitude
  • Experience in handling hand and power tools
  • Good work ethic, professional, and positive attitude
