Position Summary

Canadian Road Builders Inc. is looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual who can work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. The primary responsibilities will be to provide quality and timely administrative support services to the equipment maintenance facility in compliance with Canadian Road Builders Inc.’s accounting policies and procedures, as well as to promote and participate in Goal Zero Initiative.

Main Responsibilities

  • Positively participate in company safety program and adhere to all safety requirements.
  • Support the various shop departments with administrative duties such as entering fuel/fluid logs, work orders, inventory reconciliations and packing slips.
  • Match purchase orders to invoices, review and verify the coding, amount, and approval before entry.
  • Batch and prepare invoices for export.
  • Perform vendor reconciliations as directed.
  • Communicate professionally with co-workers, supervisors, managers, vendors, and customers.
  • Occasional purchasing will be required.
  • Keeping up to date with and filing equipment’s record.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Computer literate and an ability to adapt and learn new software.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards and MS Office will be an asset.
  • Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Able to process and enter high volume of data, work well under pressure, and meet set deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Motivated, independent, reliable
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Experience

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 1 - 3 years’ experience in a related position.
  • Possess a Valid Driver’s License, with clean abstract
