Job Summary:

The field office clerk will administer, gather, scan, and file documents according to an established organizational system. Clerks may retrieve documents when needed by employees of the construction site, or have a responsibility to submit documents to main office sites or other agencies as required for reporting. This is a seasonal position.

 

Qualifications: 

- 2-3 years of prior office administration experience preferred

- Requires prior knowledge of principles and practices of administration

- Successful construction clerks exercise attentiveness to detail, organizational skills, communication and writing skills

- Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced but fairly routine

- Ability to use computer scanners and imaging software is also necessary

- Assures discreet handling of all business and capable of maintaining confidentiality

 

Education/Experience: 

- High School diploma or GED required

 

Computer Skills: 

- Basic computer knowledge including knowledge of MS Word and Excel, and internet applications

- Other software as required

 

Language Skills:

- Ability to read, analyze and interpret procedures, and/ or governmental regulations

- Must have the ability to write business correspondence
