This is a Union Position

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Assist the traveling public and construction traffic to safely abide by all traffic laws while within the construction workzone.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

- Design and impliment TCP's

- Schedule personal 

- Abide by all state and federal traffic laws

- Ensures traffic safety

- Monitor street traffic

- Notifies the appropriate personnel of any hazardous conditions

- Monitor roadways for any and all hazardous objects

- Must be able to stand for long hours

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Worker must be able to:

- Be organized

- Communicate both written and verbally

- Work independently

- Solve problems

- Work well in groups
