- Inspect work area on a daily basis
- Works with the Manager on scheduling of employees
- Maintains daily work order log of equipment
- Responsible for ordering parts and supplies for maintaining equipment and shop area, including ordering lubricants and fuel for the lube truck and maintaining lubrication storage area
- Works with the Manager on maintaining an effective Preventive Maintenance Program for the rolling stock equipment, to help ensure cost controls
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment for all individuals who work or visit the work area
- Manage / oversee all warehouse activities
- Order materials from approved vendors for field operations
- Manage / oversee equipment fleet
- Assist with scheduling of equipment
- Receive and ship materials 
- Assist Superintendent with night or early morning material loading for ongoing field operations
- Keep inventory of materials ordered for ongoing field operations
- Keep shop/warehouse organized, good housekeeping
- Work with mechanics and shop personnel for potential equipment repairs
- Oversee and manage material deliveries by delivery personnel to field 
- Assist in maintaining equipment maintenance log
- Assist Project operations with submittals / cut sheets for approval of materials to be installed

- Other duties as assigned 


- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment
- Good organization skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Field experience on construction job sites
- Training in the following: computer skills, work orders, timesheet preparation
