Main Responsibilities

This position is part of the Lafrentz Road Markings group based in the lower mainland of B.C. and may require working out of town approximately 50% of the time, as well as occasional night shifts. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the YVR Contract Coordinator is responsible for weekly coordination of crew movements and workload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrangement of security and access on a daily basis
  • Schedule both airside and groundside work plans
  • Assist YVR authority with their budgets for both airside and groundside 
  • Ensure internal budget in maintained 
  • Ensure schedules are maintained and facilitated correctly 
  • Ensure principles for a safe and respectful workplace.
  • Ensure crew compliance with company policies and procedures.  
  • Conduct jobsite inspections.

Qualifications

Education, Training, Diplomas and Certifications       

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and current drivers abstract.

Working Conditions

  • Travel as required.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Use of personal protection equipment is required.
  • Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol policy.
  • Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to meet all safety requirements.
  • Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is recommended.
  • Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
  • Driving long distances unaccompanied.
