Pulverizer Operator

Minimum Qualifications:
- Heavy equipment experience, an asset (Training can be provided)
- Welding experience considered an asset
- Valid class G driver's licence and driver's abstract
- Ability to perform manual labour and lift up to 23 kg
- Mechanically inclined, perform routine maintenance on equipment (holders and teeth)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, nights, weekends & holidays, and overtime; travel is required
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and work well with others
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to plan and organize job tasks on site
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate in a fast paced and demanding environment in a safe and effective manner
Day in the Life
Operate and maintain the pulverizing machine safely while ensuring accurate measurements of pulverized areas. Communicate daily with the Supervisor and comply with all health and safety regulations to maintain COR certification. Oversee the cleanliness and condition of vehicles as per Miller Standards and MTO regulations, including site upkeep. Manage equipment maintenance, fuel deliveries, and float requirements, with training provided as needed.
