Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license and clean abstract

  • Previous driving experience

  • Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act and municipality by-laws

Preferred Qualification

  • Willing to travel extensively
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively work alone and in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Mechanically inclined

Day in the Life

As a Truck Driver, you’ll get to know the highways like the back of your hand as you take on the responsibility of operating and driving dump trucks, water trucks, straight trucks, and articulated trucks. This role requires a willingness to travel up north to Kenora, Manitoulin, and surrounding areas, working closely with road crews to load/unload materials and support construction operations on-site.

Strong communication skills are essential as you'll coordinate with clients, customers, and dispatch to ensure smooth and timely operations.

Enjoy the sunny weather and beautiful views of Northern Ontario while operating state of the art equipment, traveling around the area.

Note:This position is part of a traveling crew, requiring you to be away from home for weeks at a time, traveling from city to city and within province . If you’re passionate about life on the road and eager to build a career in construction, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
