About Us
MacDonald Paving and Contracting is part of Miller Paving Atlantic, based in Moncton New Brunswick. MacDonald Paving and Contracting provides the public and private sectors with road construction, paving, road and structure rehabilitation, engineering construction, aggregate-based materials, highway operations, and maintenance services.
As a Paving LeadHand, You Will
- Provide leadership to the Paving Crew foreman
- Ensure all products meet specifications
- Manage client relationships in a professional and productive manner
- Flexibility with work assignments and resources such as equipment and materials
- Conduct ‘tail gate’ safety talks with staff to review policies and practices
- Ensure safety practices are followed by the crew
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring ?
- Lead hand experience
- Experience in paving or other related activities is an asset
- Mechanical inclination is an asset
- Strong leadership skills and ability to engage and manage the paving crew
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
