Compensation

$26 per hour

Job Summary

The Project Engineer (P.E) Intern will support the project team by assisting with various operational tasks while gaining practical experience in business practices and project management.  

Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in project planning sessions to understand project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Assist team members in the execution of project tasks and activities, contributing to project milestones
  • Prepare for and participate in pre-job and weekly meetings, taking notes on key discussion and action item
  • Provide updates on project status in weekly meetings, highlighting progress and any challenges faced
  • Assist with tracking project costs through timesheets, weekly quantities and job cost reports
  • Assist with maintaining both cost report and billing quantities
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence
  • Keep detailed logs of project activities, including daily reports of work performed and progress made
  • Scan, index, and organize documents and files for project reference
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

Must be actively working towards a college degree in engineering or a related field

  • Basic math skills with the ability to calculate and analyze data
