The role is responsible for overseeing testing and commissioning activities of technical rooms (LPS, RS, and SR) while supervising site technicians and ensuring full compliance with safety, quality, and project requirements. The position involves planning and executing daily site activities, monitoring team productivity, managing attendance and reporting, and coordinating closely with the Site Manager to support schedule achievement. The role also ensures effective use of resources, identifies material or design gaps, supports quality compliance, prepares field change requests, and drives continuous improvement in site performance to meet overall project objectives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct testing and commissioning activities for technical rooms (LPS, RS, and SR).

Supervise technicians and site teams within the assigned area of work.

Ensure full compliance with safety targets, policies, and commitments.

Plan daily site activities within the assigned scope and coordinate with the Site Manager for review and approval.

Execute and oversee day-to-day site activities.

Maintain and record daily attendance for the site team.

Identify and report any shortages in materials, resources, or IFC drawings required for site execution.

Prepare and submit daily site reports.

Monitor and follow up on daily production and progress of the site team.

Define required manpower, equipment, and tools, and report requirements to the Site Manager.

Ensure optimal and efficient use of equipment and tools on site.

Review and challenge assigned durations to support achievement of the overall project schedule.

Drive the site team to improve productivity and performance.

Support the Quality Team to ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.

Lead daily site meetings with the team to align on objectives, targets, and expectations.

Prepare and submit Field Change Requests (FCRs) for any proposed design changes to the Design Team.

Review, validate, and submit timesheets for the site team.
Education and Experience Required

Education: |
Diploma, Institutional Degree. |
|
Experience: |
8+ years of experience in metro projects leading group of workers and labours. Experienced with Electrical work. Flexible and open minded to adapt smooth processes to existing organization. Proactive client Relationship. Knowledgeable of Occupational health and Safety codes. |
|
Language Requirements: |
Arabic & English is a must, French is a plus. |
