Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid AZ license and clean driving abstract
  • 5 years of previous driving experience
  • Experience with Low Boy Float, Tag Float, Tri Axle Dump Truck, Oversize/Heavy Haul.
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods, during weekdays
  • Member of Liuna Local 625 union or willing to join after probationary period

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mechanically inclined
  • Strong understanding of equipment repair and maintenance
  • Experience in paving/construction industry as an asset
  • Perform tasks including raking asphalt, spotting trucks, lifting, and moving materials
  • Works in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions: including heat and cold while wearing various levels of personal protective equipment

Compensation Data

Hourly rate: $37.99/hr

Day in the Life

You will be responsible for safely operating Float tractor and trailer, transporting small construction equipment safely from site to site. You will load, secure, and unload heavy equipment. Once equipment is floated to site, you will work with the crew on site laboring and operating with the crew while efficiently adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

 

Safety will always be your number one priority as you adhere to protocols, wear PPE, keep a keen eye out for any potential hazards, communicate effectively, and promote an overall safe culture.
