Minimum Qualifications

  • Working towards an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, SharePoint, MS Outlook
  • G2/G License required and access to vehicle

Day in the life

A typical day in this role involves ensuring a safe working environment by strictly following all safety guidelines while supporting overall project performance in terms of cost, schedule, and quality. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and the public to maintain strong relationships and smooth operations. Throughout the day, you manage change order processes—pricing, processing, and assessing their impact on cost and schedule. Planning and updating work schedules, coordinating construction activities, and overseeing quality assurance and control are key tasks to ensure compliance with contract requirements. You’ll also maintain accurate plans, specifications, cost estimates, and subcontractor reports, making sure the latest versions are distributed promptly. Monitoring project costs and coding procedures is essential, and you may assist with estimating and bidding for upcoming projects. Each responsibility contributes to delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
