Mission
Terus Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is seeking a part-time Office Clerk based in Chetwynd, BC. This position entails 20 to 25 hours per week and offers a flexible schedule to accommodate your availability.
Main Responsibilities
• Learn and apply basic functions of operating systems to support daily tasks and operations
• Perform data entry to maintain and update records and databases
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel
• Greet and assist customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• File and organize both physical and digital documents as necessary
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail
• Operate standard office equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person as needed.
• Support general administrative tasks and ensure smooth daily office operations
Experience/Qualifications
• Experience working in a team environment
• Experience in office administration
• Excellent computer skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• A high school diploma
Working Conditions
• Work is performed in an indoor setting and may include a combination of standing, sitting and waking. Sitting for extended periods of time is required.
• Manual dexterity required to use computer and peripherals.
• Must comply with all company policies.
• In town work, limited to no travel.
Compensation Data
The anticipated salary range for this position is $18-23 CAD an hour. The final compensation package will be determined based on factors including the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
