Mission
Reeves Construction Company is seeking a Construction Cost Analyst based out of Duncan, SC.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure project success by managing safety, schedule adherence, profitability, and quality.
- Foster professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to enhance collaboration.
- Utilize reports to effectively manage costs and prepare accurate financial projections.
- Oversee billing processes to ensure timely payments and maintain a positive cash flow.
- Execute change orders and cost control adjustments to keep projects on track.
- Complete project close-out requirements and punch lists efficiently, ensuring all documentation is properly archived for future reference.
- Provide constructive feedback to estimators to improve future project bidding.
- Promote employee development through ongoing training and mentoring initiatives.
- Implement necessary changes to current processes and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency, including maintaining project document control and retention of correspondence.
- Perform other duties as required to support overall project objectives.
Job Requirements
- Previous asphalt paving, grading, or storm drainage experience (preferred)
- Project Management experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; preferably in construction management (preferred)
- Knowledgeable in and proven abilities with estimating in a paving or construction type environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have ability to interact with external and internal customers and partners in a fast pace, multitasking environment, working independently with a high degree of problem solving
- Proficiency in use of Excel, HCSS / JDE and experience with an estimating package (preferred)
