Summary
Reporting to the Foreman, the Welder is responsible for fabricating, assembling, maintaining and repairing equipment and structures efficiently and according to plan designs. This role requires attention to detail and precision to produce high quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
Education and Training
Education and Training
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Class 5 Drivers License required.
- Completion of accredited Apprenticeship program
- Red Seal certification preferred.
Work Experience
- 1 – 2 years’ construction.
- 4+ years’ welding experience.
Working Conditions
- Overtime as required.
- Work may be performed in an indoor setting, which could include standing for long periods of time, and exposure to dust and fumes.
- Work may be performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
- Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
