Roadways Coordiantor

Mission

The Roadways Coordinator works closely with the project team to coordinate the project to the satisfaction of the client, consistent with the costs, schedule, and contractual requirements.  Will be responsible for coordination of all production requirements related to pavement and roadways including but not limited to safety, quality, administration, scheduling, cost controls, client/ subcontractor/ craft communication and management.  Heavy civil, asphalt, major roadways or LRT experience is required

Profile

3-5 years’ experience in a previous similar role
•    Heavy civil construction experience, preferably in LRT or similar public infrastructure projects
•    Completed post-secondary degree or diploma in construction-related discipline, or equivalent work experience
•    Experience with asphalt, roadways, and heavy civil construction required
•    Valid Class 5 license, preferably with clean driver’s abstract

•    Demonstrated organizational skills within a multi-deadline multi-discipline project
•    Computer proficiency including MS Office, Primavera, SharePoint, JDEdwards
•    Ability to work in field or office as required
•    Highly motivated, able to complete assignments with minimal direct supervision
•    Knowledge of standard health, safety, and environmental requirements and practices in the construction industry
•    Flexibility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet the time demands of unpredictable activities.
•    Capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic environment
