Job Summary
This position is a laborer position at our aggregate plant location . Manaual tasks will be assinged that may include shoveling, maintenance and repairs to plant or heavy equipment, and various other manual tasks.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform all work in a safe manner, maintaining an excellent safety environment
- Participate in daily safety huddles
- Shovel aggregates
- Assit with maintenance and repairs of the plant and various equipment
- Other manual tasks as assigned
Education
- On the job training provided
Skills
- Perform tasks efficiently
- Build professional relationships that develop excellent teamwork
- Must be safety conscious
- Mechanical aptitude is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Able to work long shifts - up to 7 days a week when necessary
- Must be capable of long periods of standing / walking / moving without sitting
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must preform tasks while working in various seasonal climates
- Able to complete tasks with frequent bending, twisting, scooping, and climbing
- Must be able to shovel
- Working at heights may be required when necessary
