Job Summary

This position is a laborer position at our aggregate plant location . Manaual tasks will be assinged that may include shoveling, maintenance and repairs to plant or heavy equipment, and various other manual tasks.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform all work in a safe manner, maintaining an excellent safety environment
  • Participate in daily safety huddles
  • Shovel aggregates
  • Assit with maintenance and repairs of the plant and various equipment
  • Other manual tasks as assigned

Education

  • On the job training provided 

Skills

  • Perform tasks efficiently
  • Build professional relationships that develop excellent teamwork
  • Must be safety conscious
  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred but not required  

Physical Requirements

  • Able to work long shifts - up to 7 days a week when necessary
  • Must be capable of long periods of standing / walking / moving without sitting
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must preform tasks while working in various seasonal climates
  • Able to complete tasks with frequent bending, twisting, scooping, and climbing 
  • Must be able to shovel
  • Working at heights may be required when necessary
