Job Summary
A construction is seeking a dragline operator for our aggregate operations in Garland, Pennsylvania. Previous experience preferred.
Main Responsibilities
- Promote safe work practices and an excellent safety culture
- Responsible for safe and efficient operation of a dragline
- Complete daily inspection and checklist
- Participate in safety huddles daily
- Responsible to follow all onsite MSHA and environmental requirements and guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance and any necessary dragline repairs as needed
- Responsible for reporting incidents and accidents to supervisors
- Responsible to inform plant superintendent or supervisors of any potential safety hazards
Skills
- Knowledge and skills to operate a dragline safely and efficiently
- Communication skills
- Mechanical skills to perform routine maintenance and repairs
Physical Requirements
- Able to work in various outdoor weather conditions
- Able to stand, walk, sit, enter and exit large equipment
- Able to use arms, hands, and fingers
- Able to lift and handle objects
