E&M Design Manager

Mission

E&M Design Manager is in charge of managing the MEP Design of the Underground Section - Hanoi Pilot Metro Line project E&M package, including:

• HVAC system,
• Smoke control system,
• Dewatering system,
• Fire detection and fire-fighting systems.
• Escalators and Elevators

Main Responsibilities

• Include but not limited to:

  • Analyse, understand and apply project technical requirements and applicable standards,
  • Manage design team,
  • Follow-up and ensure suppliers comply with technical requirements,
  • Responsible for the preparation and delivery of all drawings and documents as per contract requirements,
  • Provide technical support to Construction and T&C team with regards to design issues;
  • Manage consistency and quality of documents;
  • Participate in the tenders, projects, factory acceptance test;
  • Technical works including simulations, specifications, drawings;
  • Technical analysis
  • Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor and management.

Profile

•    Bachelor or higher with working experience in railway projects 
•    Solid technical background with understanding and experience in MEP Design
•    Technical skills in MEP system in the tunnel is advantaged
•    Strong planning, leadership, problem solving and communications skills
•    Excellent computer skills 
•    Good command of English
