Job Summary
As a CDL Driver in Prince of Wales, AK with Colas Inc., you'll have the opportunity to work on specific projects in your field of specialty. Operating world-class vehicles, you'll closely follow safety guidelines to ensure perfect execution and outstanding results.
Main Responsibilities
- Safely load and transport materials in compliance with regulatory agency requirements.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulatory requirements, guidelines, and protocols to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to property. Maintain a thorough understanding of regulations.
- Conduct inspections, clear debris, and implement safety measures.
- Inspect and maintain utilized equipment.
- Collaborate and communicate as part of a team working directly with other professionals such as engineers and inspectors.
- Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays. Typical weekly work hours can meet or exceed 60 hours.
- Diligent/Hard Worker
Driver Requirements
- CDL Class A with Med card
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and PAT (Physical Abilities Test)
- Strong communication skills are crucial for effectively collaborating with your team. (talk and hear).
- As a CDL Driver, you'll frequently be exposed to loud noises, so the ability to work in such an environment is vital.
- You'll also encounter various weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles on a regular basis.
