Job Summary

Do you want to experience the incredible Alaskan outdoors? We’re constantly on the lookout for hardworking individuals who take the initiative to encourage others to greatness. CDL Drivers chip into the success of the project for their professional specialty (road, pipelines, rail, etc.) adhering to safety guidelines.

Main Responsibilities

 

Applies the safety guidelines linked to their activities including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment.

Prepares for their work: analysis of the information concerning the carrying out of the work, transfer of vehicles to the construction site, installs construction site signs and provides access roads in compliance with the traffic rules for safe work.

Deals with the accurate adjustment of their equipment and vehicles before operating them.

Operates the vehicles according to the prerogatives of the required authorizations and ensuring safety.

Carries out work based on detailed directives from their hierarchy.

Maintains vehicles: clearing and verification of vehicles after use, carries out standard upkeep (minor repairs) in observance of environmental guidelines and the regulations, notifies their manager in the event of anomalies.

Education

College/University Degree(s) preferred.

Professional Certifications preferred.

Physical Requirements

Required to pass drug screening and PAT (physical abilities test).

Regularly required to communicate.

Frequent exposure to loud noises.

Regularly exposed to weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles.
