Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our crew. We’re constantly on the lookout for hardworking individuals who take the initiative to encourage others to greatness. Operators chip into the success of the project for their professional specialty (road, pipelines, rail, etc.) adhering to safety guidelines. Are you ready to apply?
Main Responsibilities
Operate equipment used in construction in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations.
Maneuver heavy equipment into loading or unloading positions, following signals from crew as needed, check that the vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is accurately positioned.
Carries out the work, operating the vehicles according to the prerogatives of the required authorizations and ensuring safety.
Prepares the tools and the materials vital for the building of the structure and the workspace.
Maintains vehicles clearing and verification of vehicles after use, carries out standard upkeep in observance Southeast Road Builder's environmental guidelines and the regulations, notifies their manager in the event of anomalies.
Education
College/University/Degree(s) Preferred.
Professional Certifications.
Skills
Operators may be encouraged to perform equipment and materials inspections.
They required to understand specifications and instructions, both verbal and written.
Working with heavy-duty machinery requires knowledge of and strict adherence to safety regulations.
Heavy equipment operators should know basic maintenance and repair of the equipment they operate.
Physical Requirements
Required be able to pass drug screening and PAT(physical abilities test).
Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear).
Frequent exposure to loud noise.
Regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles.
